This tournament raises funds to support Friends of Ohana’s Workforce Development and Mentorship Programs, providing young adults aging out of foster care with the skills and support they need to build stable, independent futures.
Through these programs, foster youth and young adults gain essential life and job-readiness skills including interpersonal communication, respect and professionalism, personal hygiene, customer service training, stress management, emotional regulation, interview preparation, resume building, financial literacy, and budgeting.
By investing in workforce development, we help ensure that these foster youth are equipped to secure employment, afford housing, avoid homelessness, and confidently navigate adulthood with the support of a caring community.
